More than 10,000 multi-national runners from 76 countries around the world took part in the 22nd Angkor Wat International Half Marathon organised on Sunday in Siem Reap province.
H.E Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), presided over the annual event.
For the half marathon, Qui Bian from China came in first at 1:12:42 for men category, and Nic Amhlaoibh from Ireland at 1:28:45 for women category.
For men's 10-kilometre race, Cambodian Athlete Vann Pheara got the first place at 34:44 and Pech Agathe
from France at 45:27 for women's 10-kilometre run.
Mr. Chim Phan of Cambodia is the first winner of the 10-kilometre race for disabled athletes, while Mr. Sem Kim Sour won the first prize of the wheelchair half marathon.
