21 Cambodian Victims Rescued in Malaysia and Vietnam

Royal Embassy of Cambodia in collaboration with the host countries of Malaysia and Vietnam has rescued 21 Cambodian victims, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFA-IC) said in a news release issued yesterday.

The ministry updated that 15 deceived Cambodian migrant workers in Malaysia were sent back home between April 14 and 29.

Six other women, added the same source, who are the victims of human trafficking to China were rescued in Vietnam and sent home on May 3.

The victims are from Kandal, Kampot, Kratie, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Thbong Khmum, Pursat and Koh Kong provinces, it pointed out.
