The 2021 National Cycling Championship to be happened in Siem Reap province on Jan.11-13, will be a major competition for the SEA Games 2022-2023 in Vietnam and Cambodia respectively.
The remark was made by Mr. Nou Chamroeun, Secretary General of Cambodian Cycling Federation (CCF), adding that the competition will provide the Cambodian team a technical experience to organise the sport when hosting the SEA Games in 2023.
The contest, continued the secretary general, will be divided into two subjects — Road Bike and Mountain Bike.
Road Bike includes Man Junior, Man Elite and Man Master Road Bikes, while Mountain Bike includes Man Junior, Man Elite, Woman and Man Master Bikes.
According to CCF, the registration for the 2021 National Cycling Championship is open until Dec. 31, 2021.
Athletes from all capital and provincial clubs and associations who are interested in the tournament can register at the federation’s headquarters in the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC)’s building, Phnom Penh or via http://www.cambodiacyclingfederation.org/.
