2018 K-Food Business Show has been held to boost Cambodia-Korea cooperation on agricultural products, according to local media report.
Taking place at the Great Duke Hotel here in Phnom Penh early this week, the exhibition was attended by over 200 governmental officials, businesspersons, and the teams of 15 visiting Korean firms who came to showcase their agricultural products during the event.
The Korean processing products put on display included fruits, tea, noodle, bear, wine, automatic noodle steam machines, cake, candy and beyond.
Addressing the function, H.E. Oh Nak-young, Ambassador of Korea to Cambodia, underlined the significance of event driven by emerging needs among the peoples of the two nations.
For his part, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Veng Sakhon noted that the event played a crucial role in promoting the flow of free trade and Korean investors to Cambodia.
The exhibition was organised by the Republic of Korea in collaboration with Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
