100-Day Countdown Toward SEA Games 2023 to Kick Start Tomorrow

Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC) is ready to solemnly mark the 100-day countdown toward the SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games 2023 in Cambodia.

The readiness was affirmed by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of CAMSOC following a meeting chaired by H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and Permanent Vice President of CAMSOC here in Phnom Penh on Jan. 23.

The 100-day countdown ceremony will take place on Jan. 25, starting from 4 PM, at Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh, with the participation of the public as well as the ASEAN countries' SEA Games mission heads, said H.E. Vath Chamroeun.

CAMSOC prepares approximately 1,000 athletes and artists to perform at the vital event, continued the secretary of state, adding that the event will be live-streamed on TV network and social media under the full support from the TV Association of Cambodia, especially from H.E. Khieu Kanharith, Minister of Information and Vice President of CAMSOC.

Besides the 100-day countdown, the committee will also celebrate the royal sports fire ceremony, fire procession and the participating countries' SEA Games Mission Heads Meeting.

The 32nd SEA Games will be opened officially on May 5 and closed on May 17, while the 12th ASEAN Para Games will take place from June 3 to 9, 2023.
