H.E. Veng Sakhon, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has met with Cambodian students of Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) who will leave Cambodia for one-year study visit in Israel.
In the meeting taking place yesterday at the university here in Phnom Penh, H.E. Veng Sakhon appreciated of the performance of the school and its good cooperation with Israel's Agro-Studies Company to promote Cambodian human resources in the area.
The minister advised the students to establish good cooperation with others and study hard, as their success will significantly contribute to further development of Cambodia.
According to H.E. Ngo Bunthan, RUA Rector, Agro-Studies Company and his university have introduced the one-year study visit project in Israel since 2008.
Up to now, over 460 agriculture students have gained study experience in the country considered as one of the world leading agricultural producers, he added.
