Japan has donated another ten garbage trucks to Cambodia, as part of the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project, according to the Ministry of Environment.
The signing ceremony of the grant assistance was held at the Ministry of Environment on Mar. 27 under the presidency of H.E. Say Samal, Minister of Environment, and H.E. Ueno Atsushi, Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia.
That was an additional to the ten garbage trucks donated earlier to Cambodia’s sub-national administrations for urban solid waste management.
Japan is a key contributor to the environment sector and the implementation of Cambodia’s policy on solid waste management for clean cities.
