Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will join other ASEAN Heads of State/Government in the Summit between ASEAN and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this week.
The information was shared by Spokesperson to the Prime Minister H.E. Meas Sophorn at Phnom Penh International Airport this morning, prior to the departure of the Cambodian high-level delegation led by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and his spouse for Beijing, the People’s Republic of China, to participate in the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation on Oct. 17-18.
After China, Samdech Thipadei will continue to Saudi Arabia to attend the ASEAN-GCC Summit to be held on Oct. 20, said the spokesperson.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will return to Cambodia on Oct. 21, 2023, H.E. Meas Sophorn added.
The ASEAN-GCC Summit will be held after ASEAN has been committed to further broadening its engagement with the oil-rich region.
All the members of this summit has acceded to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC).
