Cambodia has been hosting the four-day day Hands-On Training Workshop on the Preparation and Reporting of Mitigation Actions for the Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe Regions.
The event, taking place in Siem Reap province, attracted participants from more than 30 countries in the Asia Pacific region and Eastern Europe.
The training workshop was opened on Sept. 4 under the presidency of H.E. Tin Ponlok, Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the National Council for Sustainable Development (NCSD).
On the occasion, H.E. Tin Ponlok expressed his concern over the increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and underlined the negative impacts of climate change on Cambodia's infrastructure, tourism, garment industry due to the country's limited adaptation capacity.
