The JAD, initiated by Japan in conjunction with the commemoration of the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, consists of a series of events including the ASEAN-Japan Special Meeting of Justice Ministers (AJSMJ), the ASEAN-G7 Justice Ministers’ Interface, and the G7 Justice Ministers’ Meeting.
